ABSTRACT

On March 8, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued guidance on the resumption of activities for those individuals who are fully vaccinated against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).1 This communication serves as a sign that resuming our "normal" lives post COVID-19 may be within our reach. Working remotely and conducting meetings via Zoom or Microsoft Teams have become the norm for many and have led to benefits for individuals, such as appreciating a more relaxed work attire standard and the lack of a commute to and from work or from one meeting to another across campus.4 Data from the Coronavirus Disruption Project indicated that 78% of survey respondents felt that they were as effective or even more effective working from home.4 What does this tell us about our work life that we can incorporate?
